The Venue

The 2009 European Quizzing Championships will take place in the Mercure Hotel Dordrecht.

Hotel Mercure Dordrecht is located on the A16 (exit 20) near Dordrecht, only 20km from Rotterdam business centre and 25 km from Breda. The A16 is the main corridor from Belgium to Rotterdam / Amsterdam.

The hotel is completely non smoking including all rooms. It's a modern hotel with a large restaurant, a cosy lobby bar, Business Point M and a wide selection of meeting and function rooms.

As well as having 95 rooms, it also has 11 meeting rooms, own parking lot, Wifi and also one disabled bedroom.

The hotel lies just 10 minutes by car from the centre of this, the oldest city of the original Holland. Dordrecht can be reached in one hour by direct rail link from Amsterdam-Schiphol.
